INXS - Definitive Review

Artist: INXS
Album Title: Definitive
Label: Mercury
Bones:
Summary: 41 of the best from Hutchence and Co.

Finally! A 'Best Of' which really does contain the 'Best' of the particular group it is meant to portray. 'Definitive INXS' is no over-priced rip-off. Containing 21 of the band's best, bad-ass, funky tunes - from their first, 'Just Keep Walking' way back in 1980 - it covers the band's hits from their hey-day years in the late 80's and early 90's and also includes, probably their last great song, 'Elegantly Wasted' from 1997.

Every single song strongly deserves its place on the cd, and there are no important songs omitted like in many other compilations. Guaranteed you will find your favourites included, and the cd does proper justice to these Australian music legends. In the original inlay you will find a nice set of group photos and a reasonable inscription from each band-member, excluding, of course, Michael Hutchence, describing their thoughts about the band's extensive past.

Definately one for the true INXS fan, this is a collectable, almost as good as having the individual original albums. It even includes lyrics for every single song, and has an amazing song order. So to all those who appreciate the masters that INXS were, get ready to groove, and remember to turn the volume up!
